A bash from the past

If you think diamanted tracksuits, half-face fringes and cargo pants are a thing of the past, well, think again. We threw a Y2K Bash with Tony and Donald (aka the Pookies) and it was one hell of a party!

Social anxiety is afraid of Tony and Donald. Dancing to every bop in every corner, they sure know how to boogie and have fun. While cruising through the streets of Western Eora, they decided to reclaim the vibes of 2000s dance floors like  Club 77 and World Bar (currently King Cross Pavilion). We know a thing or two about partying, so we reached out to see if if they’d be keen to make this dream a reality.

After weeks of planning, we got over 300 people dancing and singing along at the iconic Red Rattler Theatre with our friends Andy, Sarah and Ollie taking care of the music.

The night was a continuous sing-along, with the crowd belting out every lyric as if they were performing on stage themselves (which eventually they were).

In case you missed it, we’ve sorted you out with a few snaps from that night. And if you didn't get the memo, stay tuned at Heaps Normal and subscribe to get early access to what we've been up to.

Special thanks to the team at Red Rattler for keeping the drinks flowing and our epic DJs: Andy, Sarah and Ollie.
